About
I’m Samuel Molnar. I build software for a living and for fun, experiment with electronics, and build gadgets.
I’ve been building software for more than 13 years, mostly at startups. I led engineering at Intuo, which Unit4 acquired in March 2019, and was an early core engineer at Henchman, which LexisNexis acquired in July 2024.
I also created Otvorené Súdy (Open Courts), an open data project built in collaboration with Transparency International Slovakia. It makes millions of Slovak court decisions, hearings and judge profiles searchable and linked together, so anyone can see how the courts really work. The project later grew an API and a sister project, Otvorená Prokuratúra (Open Prosecution), which brings the same transparency to prosecutors.
Right now I’m building data intelligence tools for pharma and biotech at Intangia. Intangia brings together scientific, clinical, patent, deal and investment data so that R&D and strategy teams can spot emerging targets and indications early and decide which programs to pursue.
These days I like to tinker with hardware, circuits and electronics. I also run a lot with my dog, and together we do canicross.
